Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul agreed on a last-minute rule change ahead of the Exhibition Boxing Fight (AEST) on Monday.
The couple will step into the ring at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, with Mayweather reportedly earning A $131 million and Paul reportedly earning up to $18 million.
They were originally supposed to fight in 12 oz (340 g) gloves, but according to martial arts journalist Marc Raimondi they will now fight in 10 oz (283 g) gloves, making a knockout more likely because the gloves are less padded. However, the other bizarre rules remain the same.

There will be no judges evaluating the competition and therefore no scorecards will be read at the end. However, KOs are allowed during the eight-round match and parries are at the discretion of the umpire.
A fan vote was even held to determine the winner, although this is unofficial. Logan’s brother Jake, who defeated MMA star Ben Askren in April, told The Sun, “I think it’s great, I think it brings more attention to boxing. People forget that boxing is entertainment.”
All sports are designed for entertainment, even Olympic sports have existed for entertainment since the Roman Empire.
“It’s entertaining and I think Floyd is going to seriously underestimate my brother once again, and there is a big advantage, my brother is quick and has knockout power.”
