First Photo Of Queen Elizabeth’s Final Resting Place Released
The first official photo of the Queen’s final resting place has been released.
The Queen, who died aged 96, was buried with her husband Felipe and their parents.
According to local media, the main book stone in the George VI Memorial Chapel now reads:
- George VI 1895-1952
- Elizabeth 1900-2002
- *Garter star*
- Elizabeth II. 1926 – 2022
- Philip 1921-2021.
The new stone was laid in the chapel following Monday’s private funeral.
Prince Philip had been to the Royal Vault before.
King George VI, the Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II, and the Duke of Edinburgh were members of the Order of the Garter.
