Pakistan’s first technology entrepreneur and activist, Waqar Zaka, was hired as a crypto expert by the KPK government.
The news was shared by #WaqarZaka in a tweet that he has decided not to charge a penny and will provide all of his services for free. “The Pakistani government hired me as a crypto expert and I have decided not to charge a dime and I will provide all of my services for free,” he tweeted.

He also shared an official announcement from the KPK government with another tweet: “The Pakistani government is proud to be hired as an Expert and has created the Advisory Board on Cryptocurrency. After a long struggle, we are now moving towards more official Work – read this post on Avoid Scammers.”
