Fans Regret The Queen’s Sacrifice For Loved Ones

Britons and supporters of the longest-ruling monarch regret the queen’s sacrifice as she reportedly ended her Christmas schedule amid the current health crisis.

The 95-year-old, who was preparing for the traditional Christmas dinner, had to cancel her meeting at Windsor Castle.

The rally, which was due to take place next Tuesday, was canceled by the Queen as a “precautionary measure” in view of the growing number of Omicron cases in the UK.

A senior palace source said: “The pre-Christmas family dinner will not be held. The move is a precautionary measure as it is believed that if carried out, it will jeopardize many people’s Christmas preparations.”

Royal fans did not take the time to respond to the news on Twitter and many expressed regret for the queen’s sacrifice as she was ready and authorized by her medical team to host the event.

One user tweeted: “It’s so sad to think about what our Queen has been through this year and now has to make this difficult decision. These restrictions have become unbearable and destructive, and we really need to learn now to live with Covid.”

Another Queen’s supporter, Zanna Merryn, responded by saying, “Again lead by example, bless her. And the first without the partner in her life [symbol of the broken heart].”

Denise L. Sheffield wrote, “It is very sad. I am so sorry for those who are obviously in their later years and are being forced to isolate themselves.” It’s not really good for anyone.”
