Ellie Goulding is “delighted” to become an ambassador for wildlife charity WWF
Ellie Goulding has spoken out in favor of becoming an ambassador for wildlife charity WWF and has promised to speak out on the climate crisis.
“I am extremely excited to join the WWF as an ambassador because I am passionate about defending our incredible planet,” said the 35-year-old singer, who has even witnessed the rapid pace of ice loss. (meters reported)
“I know the climate crisis and the destruction of nature can seem overwhelming at times, but I promise you the dial will start to turn as millions of people come together and demand change,” he added.
The ‘Love Me Like You Do’ hitmaker also shared, “We know that every second counts and we have to fight for change. I want to be part of it.”
The Burn singer, along with many other artists, wrote a letter to Boris Johnson in 2019 urging the then-new British Prime Minister to cut emissions.
