Elisangela Tinem Dies When Firecrackers Are Left On Her Clothes
On New Year’s Eve, a woman died horribly when firecrackers caught on her clothes and exploded.
When the tragedy struck, Elisangela Tinem, 38, was enjoying a beach in Praia Grand, Brazil, with her family.
Before one of the rockets got caught in her clothing, the mother-of-two had joined the revelers to watch the fireworks.
Before he could remove the pyrotechnics, they exploded, much to the dismay of his family members and young children.
A haunting video has since surfaced, showing enthusiastic revelers watching the spectacle from the sky.
To ring in the New Year, hundreds of residents gathered on the beach in the Nova Mirim district.
Then, as a small crowd begins to gather on the beach, fireworks begin crackling and shooting large sparks.
As stunned participants fled for their lives after the pyrotechnic explosion, horrified onlookers screamed in terror.
Passerby Luiza Ferreira, 20, reported numerous illegal fireworks on the beach to local media.
As midnight approached, he said: “I was hugging my mum when I saw a flash of light and everyone started screaming.”
“I saw a woman lying on the ground bleeding when I went to check and the child that was with her was also on the ground.”
“Other people ran to get away from the area.”
Elisangela tragically died from chest injuries.
The mother’s funeral was scheduled for Monday afternoon in Sao Paulo, where she was born and raised.
His 41-year-old relative reportedly reported to police that the fireworks went off after they got caught in his clothing.
It is true that none of his relatives set off the fireworks that caused his death.
Police have launched a murder investigation while searching for the attacker.
