Eid ul Fitr 2022: When will the Shawwal moon be seen in Pakistan?
Astronomers have predicted that Shawwal’s moon will likely be visible on the night of May 2, after which Eid ul Fitr will fall on Tuesday, May 3 this year, a Newspaper reported.
According to media reports, astronomers said the moon is expected to be born between April 30 and May 1 at the crossing point at 1:28 a.m. m. PST.
Meanwhile, the duration of sightings of the moon after sunset is at least 40 minutes and at most 89 minutes, and the crescent could be seen clearly in different parts of the country on the eve of next Monday if the weather improves clear.

The government announces the Eid holiday schedule
The government of Pakistan on Tuesday unveiled the schedule for the Eid ul Fitr holiday, which will begin on May 2 (Monday), Geo News reported, according to a related statement.
The four-day holiday will begin on May 2 and last until May 5 (Thursday), the statement said after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s approval.
The sources said a summary of a three-day furlough had been sent to the prime minister but he had agreed to a four-day holiday.
