Homeless people continue to receive grants under the PM Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme in the Hazara division, as in the rest of the country.
The beneficiaries of the programs include people in vulnerable groups of society who have difficulties during lockdown.
In Abbottabad District, selected beneficiaries received 12,000 rupees from district government officials and Tehsil staff under strict security, social distance, and the provision of hand sanitizers.
In the Manshera district, Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) staff, banks and retail stores were present to help beneficiaries of the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme.
The Manshera district administration has set up 45 ATMs at various locations, in which payments of 12,000 rupees to people are in the final stages.
