Dubai Police Are Now Offering Free Car Repairs To Some Residents
Dubai Police have launched a new convenient service for drivers involved in accidents in the city. Now motorists can repair their cars immediately after receiving a report at a nearby gas station.
In a statement issued on Friday, Dubai Police said the service, known as On The Go, will be available to motorists who have been involved in accidents or minor incidents where the other party is unknown.
To offer this express service to residents of the emirate, the Dubai Police has partnered with Autopro, a reputable auto repair shop at the Enoch stations.
Previously, the Enoch stations allowed drivers to receive reports of minor accidents. Drivers can now carry out necessary repairs shortly after completing the necessary documents. It also eliminates the need for drivers to travel to different locations for reports and repairs.
Once drivers have received a minor accident report from an Enoch station, they can contact the Autopro branch. In the workshop, the damaged vehicle is transported to an authorized workshop, where a professional repair is carried out.
Once the repair is complete, the vehicle will be returned to the driver’s home. This comprehensive service ensures drivers can have their cars repaired quickly and efficiently, without unnecessary delay or inconvenience.
One of the most notable aspects of this new service is that it is offered free of charge to certain residents. Elderly people, certain people (people with disabilities), and pregnant women are entitled to free repairs.
For other drivers who do not fall into these categories, it is still possible to use the service for a fee of AED 150.
