Dubai is Introducing A New System Allowing Passengers To Travel Without ID Documents
Dubai is revolutionizing the travel experience with its new biometric system, making flying easier and more convenient for passengers.
Implemented by the Directorate-General for Residents and Aliens (DDRFA), the system eliminates the need for a passport or boarding pass at Dubai International Airport.
Gone are the days of long queues and the hassle of carrying a passport or ID card. Thanks to the new biometric system, passengers can now walk around the terminal showing only their faces to enjoy a hassle-free journey.
The technology uses a combination of face and iris recognition, offering passengers a safe and efficient way to fly.
This innovative solution applies to all expatriates, Emiratis, and visitors whose data has been registered with the DDRFA since 2019.
All biometric information has been stored in the GDXRF system for future trips, making the process quick and effortless.
