Dubai Has Been Voted The Best Holiday Destination in The World
Dubai, the financial and tourism hub of the United Arab Emirates, has been named the World’s Best Vacation Destination for 2023 for the second consecutive year by Tripadvisor’s Traveler’s Choice Awards.
Tripadvisor selected the top travel destination based on reviews from millions of travelers who submitted reviews on its website from 1st November 2021 to 31st October 2022.
The Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairwoman of the Dubai Executive Council, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, attributed the success to the Dubai government’s efforts to transform Dubai into a global tourism and business hub as part of Dubai D33. business journal.
Dubai’s hospitality, world events, and various tourist attractions will continue to contribute to Dubai’s status as a popular travel destination for foreigners, he noted.
Additionally, Dubai’s tourism has skyrocketed in the past two years following the pandemic, receiving 12.82 million overnight guests from January to November 2022, according to estimates from Dubai Economy and Tourism (DET).
