Dubai Has Been Declared The Cleanest City in The World
Dubai, one of the most attractive tourist hubs, was named the cleanest city in the world in the latest Global Power City Index published by the Mori Memorial Foundation of Japan.
Dubai’s Vice President, Prime Minister (PM), and Ruler Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the achievement on Twitter. He said cleanliness represents culture and belief and goes beyond concern for hygiene.

The Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates also stressed the importance of security, stability, and prosperity in maintaining cleanliness and quality of life in Dubai.
The Global Power City Index examines global metropolises based on their ability to attract people, capital, and businesses from around the world. He calls this force “magnetism”.
Flydubai Achieves Record Profit in 2022
Flydubai, a Dubai-based airline, recently released its 2022 annual report. The airline posted a record profit of AED1.2 billion (US$327 million), up 43% from 2021.
The airline attributes this success to a solid business model focused on profitability. Total annual sales for 2022 were AED9.1 billion (US$2.5 billion), a 72% increase from AED5.3 billion (US$1.4 billion) in the previous year.
Flydubai welcomed 10.6 million passengers last year, an 89% increase from 2021. Last year, its fleet added 17 new aircraft.
