Dubai Airports Are Launching A Major Recruitment Drive
Dubai Airports has launched a new initiative to recruit Emirati graduates as part of its Emiratiization campaign. The Future Faces Graduate Program is an annual program that offers graduates the opportunity to gain experience in airport operations.
The 12-month training consists of three rotation phases in which the participants get to know cross-functional roles. The initiative also offers personalized career planning and personalized feedback and advice.
In the end, the final job offer will be awarded based on meeting the requirements. Interested candidates can apply through the Dubai Airports website.
Meshari Al Bannai, Dubai Airports Executive Vice President (EVP), Human Resources Development, noted that Dubai Airports strives to expand the domestic talent base by nurturing and empowering the next generation of Emirati professionals by providing them with key support tools be made available to their careers.
Traffic Highlights At Dubai Airports
Dubai Airports is a company that manages Dubai’s two airports, Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). DXB was named the world’s best international airport for the eighth consecutive year in 2021 and served more than 66 million passengers last year.
For DXB passenger traffic in 2022, India remained at the top with 9.8 million passengers, followed by Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom with 4.9 million and 4.6 million passengers respectively. Pakistan was also a popular destination with 3.7 million passengers.
Dubai airports are also expected to handle 78 million passengers this year after seeing a surge from the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
