Delisa Tucker was a mother of six and was shot and killed in Chicago at the exact spot where her 14-year-old son was shot three days earlier.
She was fatally shot in the chest Wednesday morning while visiting a memorial erected for her son Kevin Tinker near her home in the Roseland neighborhood.

Tucker had lit candles for her son, who was killed in a shooting Sunday night, and the family told the Chicago Sun-Times.
Police have not confirmed whether the two shootings are related and no one has been arrested.
Police officers said they discovered Tucker’s body on the sidewalk after responding to a ShotSpotter alarm just before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
She was taken to Roseland Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities said they could not find anyone on the street who witnessed the shooting.
Her son was pronounced dead at the scene for three days before being repeatedly hit by gunfire.
When she was shot at Kevin, he was standing in front of a house that had been attacked today.
Police will not say whether they suspect Kevin has also been attacked.
The family described the teenager as a “quiet child” and said he was not involved in any gang-related activity, as per the GoFundMe site.
There have been at least 26 fatal shootings in the neighborhood where the mother and son were killed this year alone.
