CM Punjab Also Announces Flood Relief Fund Imran Khan
The Punjab Government has established the Chief Minister (CM) Flood Relief Fund to help the flood-affected people of the province.
CM Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, announced the establishment of the Flood Relief Fund and invited philanthropists and wealthy individuals to come forward and donate to the flood victims in the province.
In addition, CM Elahi stated that Tonsa, Dera Ghazi Khan (DG Khan), and Rajanpur were devastated by the raging floods, adding that people were displaced and their property and crops destroyed.
After visiting the affected areas, he declared a state of emergency and declared the affected districts stricken.
In addition, CM Elahi assured people that the Punjab government is with them and ordered the authorities to speed up rescue and relief efforts in the affected areas.
In addition, he discussed the flood situation in South Punjab with the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) at a meeting attended by Asad Umer, Shafqat Mehmood, Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, Aslam Iqbal, Yasmin Rashid, Mohsin Laghari and Andleeb participated. Abbas.

Earlier on Thursday, CM Elahi announced the allocation of Rs 5,000 crore for the rehabilitation of people affected by the flood, saying the government will use all possible resources to help the flood victims while all machines are busy helping people in danger.
He added that donations from the relief fund will be used for the rehabilitation of flood victims.
