Chrissy Teigen To Break Silence With Lengthy Apology After The Bullying Scandal involving Courtney Stodden.
In her medium article, Teigen says, “I know I was silent and God knows you don’t want to hear from me, but I want you to know that I was sitting in a hole of well deserved global punishment, the ultimate ‘Sit here and think about what you did.”
“Not a day has passed, not a single moment, that I haven’t felt the overwhelming weight of regret for the things I’ve said in the past”, She Said.
She continued, “As you know, a lot of my old horrible (horrible, horrible) tweets have surfaced again. I am really ashamed of her. When I look at them and understand the damage they have done, I have to pause and ask myself: How could I do this?”
As previously reported, Teigen publicly apologized to Courtney Stodden for telling her on a Twitter thread to “take a shitty nap,” but Stodden said.
Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bullshit in front of the entire world. I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that…

“I’ve never heard of her or her camp privately. In fact, he blocked me on Twitter. I want everyone to believe this is a sincere apology, but it feels like a public attempt to save their partnerships with Target and other brands that realize that her ‘awakening’ broke a record,” He added.
Three department stores, including Bloomingdales, Macy’s, and Target, have pulled out of their line of cookware. Teigen says there are more people he needs to apologize to and says he is in the process of reaching out privately to the people he has offended.
“I understand that you may not want to talk to me. I don’t think I like talking to myself. (The real truth in all of this is how much I really can’t stand the confrontation.) But if they do, I’ll be here and I’ll listen to what they have to say while I apologize between sobs,” he wrote.
Teigen called it “smallness, disguised as a kind of casual, edgy humor. I was a troll, period. And I’m so sorry.” She goes on to admit that she was very insecure and immature and used Twitter to get noticed.
Teigen, 35, said she believed at the time that the content was “a rude, clever, and harmless joke.” It would be cool and easy to spot if I made fun of celebrities.
But now she says she has “sharp, stabbing pains in my body, happened to remember my past, and I deserved it.” Words have consequences, and there are real people behind the Twitter identifiers I’ve been looking for.
Not only did he attack a random avatar, but he also injured young women, some of whom were girls who had feelings.
Teigen says he does not seek or deserve sympathy, adding that “the subjects of his sympathy and my sympathy should be those that I despised.”

She stresses that she has been in therapy many times in her post, adding that she has been and will continue to be on a path of self-improvement over the past decade.
He ended his long article by saying, “We are all more than our worst moments. I will not ask for your forgiveness, just your patience, and tolerance.”
“I ask you to allow me, as I promise you, to recognize past mistakes and to have the opportunity to improve and change yourself.”
