Chloe Mrozak’s Age
Her current age is 24 years.
Chloe Mrozak Used a Fake Vaccination Card
Hawaii uses a program called Safe Travels to review vaccination cards and negative COVID-19 tests from arriving travelers.
On 23rd August, Mrozak downloaded the map and presented it to an air traffic controller at Honolulu Airport. The Safe Travels administrator reported this as a possible fraudulent vaccination card.
The controller also didn’t confirm Mrozak’s hotel reservation before she left the data center.
No reservations were found after contacting the hotel listed on Safe Travels forms, as per the court documents.
Mrozak did not provide his hotel reservation number or return flight information.
After examining her vaccination card, authorities found that Mrozak had misspelled ‘Moderna’ as ‘Maderna’ and stated that she had been vaccinated in Delaware.
The special investigator contacted Delaware authorities to verify his vaccination status, but no records were found with his name and date of birth.
The special agent found the woman’s Facebook profile and discovered that Mrozak had a distinctive tattoo on her left hip. She met with other special agents from the Quarantine Compliance Verification Team (QCC) on Thursday to discuss his case.
The team believed they would be flying home (as they said) on Southwest Airlines rather than American Airlines, as most flights are bought as round-trip tickets to keep costs down.
After exploring the airport, the QCC team located Mrozak on Saturday at the Southwest Airlines counter where another woman was traveling with her. The team says they saw her because of her tattoo.
Why Was She Arrested At Honolulu Airport?
She was arrested at the airport on suspicion of forged vaccination cards before she could leave the island.
Failed to leave bail, the special agent reported that Mrozak was taken to Queen’s for COVID testing and later transferred to Honolulu Police. The bond was set at 2,000 USD.
