Channel 5 Journalist Sadaf Naeem Was Buried in Lahore
Channel 5 Journalist Sadaf Naeem was buried early Monday morning after offering funeral prayers in the Icchra area of Lahore.
According to the details, a large number of journalists, relatives of the late journalist, and leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), including Fawad Chaudhry, Mian Aslam Iqbal, and Omar Sarfraz Cheema, attended the funeral prayers.
The late journalist was later buried in the Miani Sahib Cemetery.
On Sunday, a journalist from a private news channel, Sadaf Naeem, was killed in a horrific accident during the PTI’s long march.
Channel 5 journalist Sadaf Naeem was crushed to death by a container after falling from another container.
Sadaf reportedly fell off a container while attempting to jump onto a nearby container and was run over by another truck carrying containers.
Later, PTI leader Asad Umar said that the march was halted for a day due to an unfortunate accident and will resume tomorrow.
Later, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced Rs 5 million in financial aid to journalist Sadaf Naeem’s family.

In a statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his sadness at the journalist’s death and announced financial support of Rs.5 million to the family of the deceased.
