Death Cause

Diagnosed with leukemia in 2022 after experiencing fatigue and bruising, Callum underwent chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Despite his unwavering bravery and optimism, his health declined. Surrounded by loved ones, he peacefully passed away at Pembroke Regional Hospital.

Callum is survived by his wife, Jessica; parents, John and Mary; brother, Liam; sister, Emma; grandparents, Frank and Helen, as well as numerous relatives and friends. His memory lives on in the hearts of loyal customers who admired both his cakes and infectious smile.

Obituary

A funeral service will take place on January 10, 2024, at 11 a.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Black Bay Road, followed by burial at Pembroke Cemetery. A reception, hosted at the Delta Dental Centre founded by his late friend Dr. Bruno Jurmalietis in 2020, will follow.

Instead of flowers, the family requests donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in memory of Callum’s courageous battle against blood cancer.
