Businessmen From The UAE Who Want To Explore The Investment Potential Of Pakistan
A delegation of investors and businessmen from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) visited Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
The delegation included Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Development Holding Company (ADQ), Syed Basar Shueb, Managing Director of International Holdings Company (IHC), and others.
During his meeting with the delegation, the PM said that Pakistan has great investment opportunities and the government is taking all necessary steps to facilitate investment.
During the meeting, the delegation was briefed on Pakistan’s geo-economic potential in the fields of food and agriculture, aviation, energy, and alternative energies including solar energy, financial services, healthcare, industry, logistics, real estate, tourism, and hospitality.
Alsuwaidi expressed his interest in expanding ADQ’s global footprint and willingness to explore Pakistan’s business and investment potential. ADQ is one of the largest holding companies in the Middle East region with a diversified portfolio of significant companies covering key sectors of Abu Dhabi’s non-oil economy.
The meeting was attended by Federal Finance and Revenue Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Federal Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Federal Investment Committee Minister Saalik Hussain, and senior officials.
