Buckingham Palace Urged To ‘Rule Out’ Harry And Meghan ‘Lying’ Ahead Of The Netflix Series
A former palace aide who claimed Meghan Markle was stalking her has urged Buckingham Palace to dismiss the Sussexes’ “lies” ahead of their Netflix series.
The much-anticipated trailer for the couple’s highly anticipated docu-series showed the Duke of Sussex taking aim at royal aides while commenting: “It’s a foul game.”
Speaking to the Times, the former staffer said: “The only way to end this once and for all is for us to be allowed to speak and for the Palace to firmly reject their lies.”
“I have certainly chosen to remain silent out of respect for the Crown, but if they continue to attack us, our character, our reputation, etc., we must feel that we have the royal family’s support as well,” added the aide added.
The publication also reported that Palace staff “seemed with anger” after the couple released trailers for the series.
A source said it was “absolutely false” and has been reported against it. The sources also insisted “unprecedented steps” had been taken to support them.
The Daily Telegraph reported that a source said palace staff was “doing everything possible to work with them”.
