Bill Gates Joins World’s Richest Man List at 5th Place Under Mark Zuckerberg
Microsoft founder Bill Gates has slipped to fifth place on Forbes’ list of the richest people in the world.
The current Net Worth of Bill Gates is $129.6 billion, making him the 5th richest person in the world, while Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg has a current Net Worth of $132 billion, as per Forbes, making him the 4th richest person in the world.
The following post comes after Bill Gates and Melinda French divorced. Amid the division of ownership, Gates’ position fell.

However, the 65-year-old has been one of the top billionaires since 1987 and is below third place for the first time.
Gates’ investment firm Cascade Investment LLC (CAS) transferred $2.4 billion of shares to Melinda on Thursday, bringing her net worth to $5.6 billion.
Bill Gates had already split for $3.2 billion in May after the powerful couple announced their separation.
The couple decided to go their separate ways after the former Microsoft boss was discovered friends with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2019.
Additionally, it’s unclear how much Melinda Gates will ultimately come out of the split since conditions were closed to the public, Forbes reports.
