Beyza Taskiran Cause Of Death
Amid terrified travelers, a woman has died after falling 50ft from a plane’s boarding bridge in a suspected suicide at a Turkish airport.
At Adnan Menderes Airport in Izmir, Turkey, on Monday, Beyza Taskiran, 32, jumped from the plane’s passenger deck and fell to his death, according to local media.
Taskiran, a marketing director at an IT company in Antalya province, jumped between the passenger boarding bridge and the plane before collapsing to his death.
After visiting a tourism fair in Izmir, the businesswoman was about to board the plane for the return trip to Antalya when she fell 50 feet.
Sabah claims Taskiran committed suicide before crashing onto the concrete floor beneath the plane.
According to local media, she was involved in a violent altercation just before she died from her injuries.
To find out who Taskiran was on the phone with, police are checking his phone records.
After an autopsy was performed on his body, the Turkish authorities opened an investigation into the death. The investigations are ongoing.
Since its opening in 1987, Adnan Menderes Airport has served Izmir and most of the surrounding areas of the province. More than 10 million people have transported annually.
