Best Affordable Places To Live in Dubai 2023 (For Family And Singles)
Every year thousands of people migrate to Dubai in search of better life experiences, job opportunities, and overall peace of mind as it offers all the luxuries and necessities to its residents.
Wealthy people undoubtedly have many housing options to choose from, but those on a budget have a hard time finding affordable housing for themselves.
- Those living alone can opt for a studio at the Elite Sports Residence in Dubai Sports City, where prices start at AED 30,000 per year. DAMAC Hills, a few miles from the city center, is another single option, with 400 square foot fully furnished studios available for AED30,000 to AED40,000 per year.
- Families can find affordable accommodation at DAMAC Hills 2, formerly Akoya, where a 4-bedroom villa can be rented from AED 50,000 to AED 60,000 per year.
- Couples looking to save money on rent can check out the Al Qusais area, where 2-bedroom apartments are available for under AED 30,000. However, this area is close to Dubai International Airport (DXB), which makes it a bit noisy compared to other places.
Leigh Wilmot, Treo Homes regional manager, said affordable housing is also available in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), which is not far from the capital.
He noted that the in/out traffic is a bit congested, but all the basic needs are there in the community. A 1,300 square foot 1 bedroom apartment at JVC costs around AED 50,000 per year.
