Apple Watch Series 7 Comes With A Larger Screen And More Durability
The Apple iPhone event also removed the cases from the company’s latest smartwatch, the Apple Watch 7 Series.
Contrary to rumors, the new Apple Watch is actually more rounded than before with smooth curved sides and a rubber cover glass.
One of the notable improvements this year is the larger screen size in the same body.
Apple has managed to reduce the bezels of the screen down to 1.7mm, which is 40% less than last year and allows for a 20% larger screen.
The updated Watch operating system has been optimized to take advantage of a larger screen with bigger buttons, a redesigned user interface, and more text in notifications.
A larger screen also allows you to use a full-size QWERTY keyboard by tapping or swiping. Apple’s QuickPath feature predicts what to type.
The Apple Watch 7 is also more durable than before, as the glass cover is now more resistant to cracking. The Cupertino giant also added IP6X dust protection and WR50 water resistance.
The watch is made from 100% recycled aluminum and will be available in five new colors. There will also be stainless steel and titanium versions.

You get the same 18-hour battery life, but now it charges 33% faster with a new USB-C charger. A 45-minute charge fills the battery from 0 to 80%.
Apple has yet to announce an exact release date, but the Apple Watch 7 is expected to hit the market this fall for the US in 399 USD.
