Apple, the renowned US-based tech giant, has introduced a cutting-edge sports application called Apple Sports, now readily available for free download on all iPhone models operating on iOS 17.2 or later versions.
New Free Sports App by Apple Now Available in U.S., UK, and Canada
This innovative app is designed to offer real-time scores, statistics, and more, with a strong emphasis on speed and simplicity. Apple Sports provides users with a personalized experience, prominently featuring their favorite leagues and teams in an intuitive interface crafted by Apple.
Eddy Cue, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Services, commented, “We developed Apple Sports to meet the demands of sports enthusiasts — an application that provides lightning-fast access to scores and statistics.”
He highlighted the app’s role in helping users stay abreast of their preferred teams and leagues. Apple Sports is currently available for free download in the App Store in the US, UK, and Canada.
The app covers a wide array of in-season leagues, including Major League Soccer (MLS), the National Basketball Association (NBA), both men’s and women’s divisions of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and the National Hockey League (NHL) in the US.
Moreover, it boasts coverage of international leagues such as Germany’s Bundesliga, Spain’s La Liga, Mexico’s Liga MX, France’s Ligue 1, Italy’s Serie A, and the English Premier League.
