Apple confirms iPhone 13 series won’t have noise-cancellation on calls
Call noise cancellation, which was available on previous iPhones for more than a decade, isn’t available on the iPhone 13 series, according to Apple Support.
According to a recent report from 9to5Mac, the accessibility feature that minimizes ambient noise during calls when you hold the handset close to your ear is no longer supported on the iPhone 13 series.
There’s no explanation as to why the feature was removed, meaning all phone calls will go through without noise-canceling unless you have alternative hardware like built-in noise-canceling headphones.
