On Thursday, Anju Asok and her young children Jeeva and Janvi Saju were found with life-threatening injuries.
A woman and two children who died in an alleged murder in Kettering were Anju Asok, a 35-year-old nurse, and her children, six-year-old Jeeva Saju and four-year-old Janvi Saju.
Northamptonshire Police say a 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in custody being questioned by detectives.

The Kettering Murder Case
The force was called to a property at Petherton Court in Kettering at 11:15 am Thursday, where Asok and his sons were found seriously injured.
Despite the efforts of paramedics and police, Asok died at the scene and both children later died in the hospital.
Deborah Needham, chief executive of Kettering General Hospital, where Asok worked, said: “We received the very heartbreaking news yesterday that one of our colleagues has died in circumstances that are being investigated by Northamptonshire Police.”
“Anju Asok was an internationally trained nurse who joined our KGH family in 2021 and worked primarily in Barnwell B, one of our orthopedic departments.”
“She was a dedicated and compassionate nurse who was loved and respected by her dear friends and colleagues. All of our thoughts are with his friends and family as they process this sudden loss.”
The hospital said it offers professional support to colleagues. A collection of flowers, toys, and notes honoring the victims were left near the house.
Police Investigation Report
Lead Investigator DI Simon Barnes said: “We continue to work around the clock to advance this investigation and determine the timeline of the events leading up to these tragic deaths.”
“Forensic post-mortem examinations will be taking place today and tomorrow and our Neighborhood Watch team will continue to patrol the Petherton Court area today to bring reassurance to local residents.”
“As we continue to investigate the scene of these murders, residents will see an increased police presence and I am grateful for the support of the local community. We remain committed to seeking justice for Anju, Jeeva, and Janvi.”
Police said while they were not looking for anyone in connection with the deaths, they asked anyone with information to contact them by calling 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555111.
