Andrew Garfield Explains The ‘Lovely’ Reason He Agreed To Do Spider-Man: No Way Home
Actor Andrew Garfield recently shed light on the sold-out “winning scene” by signing up for Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The 38-year-old actor joined in the decision-making conversation in his most recent interview with Variety.
He started by telling the publication, “There were so many unanswered questions for my Peter, right where we left off. I was able to take a step back and heal him.”
Much of that interest comes from being lucky enough to save their crush, MJ (played by Zendaya), who fell from a great height towards the end of the film.
He even added, “My Spider-Man could potentially save his younger brother’s romantic relationship. And heal the most traumatic moment of his own life by doing it for his younger brother.”

“To make sure [Spider-Man from Holland] didn’t have the same fate, there is something cosmically beautiful about it. It meant getting a second chance to save Gwen.”
Before closing, she also admitted, “I’ll say the picture of my capture of [Zendaya] MJ was really beautiful and was sold to me as a whole.”
