As per the police, Ana Fantaziu was a young practicing doctor who was shot and killed by her fiancé on a romantic vacation just three weeks after the couple got engaged.
Fantazius’s future husband, Roman Vlasă, 28, had gone to live with his parents in Moldova when he shot her fiancée before pointing the gun at her.

Ana Fantaziu was a nurse who enrolled in medical school to become a doctor.
Her future husband, Roman Vlasă, 28, had gone to meet her parents in Moldova but the trip ended when he shot her fiancée before pointing the gun at her.
Her father said that there had been an argument between the family and Vlasă, of which Ana’s friends said that he was naturally ‘jealous’.
Ana’s father said he fled the house to ask for help after her future son-in-law threatened her with a gun.
Then the father heard two shots and the police found the bodies of the nurse and her future husband at the house in Fundul Galbenei village, Hînceşti district.
The couple had been together for two years prior to the engagement.
A shocked friend called their relationship “beautiful” and said they were recently on vacation in Romania.
“During the holidays he asked her to be his wife,” they said.
“She took the bouquet at my wedding.”
The groom was invited to her upcoming wedding last week.
What Was Her Friend’s Statement?
Ana’s friend Maria Buzu, a nurse, said that although the couple had a “great relationship,” Vlasă was a jealous friend, which he spoke to Ana about.
She added: “She was an amazing young woman: smart, smart, beautiful.”
“She wanted to be a doctor. She loved her work very much.”
As per the journalists’ reports, the management of the Chisinau hospital where Ana worked sent her condolences in a Facebook post.
“It is with deep regret that the administration of the IMSP Holy Trinity Municipal Clinical Hospital announces the untimely death of our colleague, Ms Fantaziu Ana, chief nurse in the emergency room,” the statement said.
“The entire team extends her deepest condolences and condolences to her family, loved ones, friends, and all those who have had the opportunity to know and appreciate her as an exceptional nurse and brilliant woman.”
Other friends used social media to express their grief over Ana’s death.
