Amber Suprunchik is a woman in central New York who was charged Friday after fleeing the scene of an accident that killed a cyclist and hospitalized another in June, soldiers said.
As per the state police press release, Suprunchik is charged with tampering with physical evidence and leaving the scene of the accident.
She was also charged with leaving the scene of a physical accident and serious second-degree surgery without a license, both crimes.

Her current age is 36 years.
Hit And Run Fatal Accident
Suprunchik was accused of hitting McGraw riders Kitt Warren, 67, DeRuyter, and John C. Rutan, 67, just before 7:30 p.m. near the 2900 block of Route 26 in Cincinnatus, state police said.
Troopers T said that Warren died and Rutan was taken to Syracuse North State University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two other people were biking on Route 26 when Warren and Rutan were hit, the soldiers said. Soldiers said the vehicle did not catch them and identified them as a 34-year-old Greene woman and a 64-year-old man from Cincinnatus.
The vehicle was originally found in Willet by Cortland County deputies, soldiers said.
Suprunchik was unaffected at the time of the accident, the soldier said. She was also charged with tampering with the vehicle after the collision.
Amber Suprunchik Arrested
An investigation found that Suprunchik was driving the vehicle and was not damaged at the time of impact, as per the statement. The investigation also revealed that Suprunchik had tampered with the vehicle after the collision.
Suprunchik was arrested by the Homer State Police Department on Friday and later taken to the Cortland County Prosecution and Treatment Center, soldiers said.
