Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said all the Matric, Intermediate board exams 2021 in Sindh to be conducted in July, Says Education Minister, and the final exam dates will be set in the next two days.
The minister spoke at a press conference in the media booth at Bilawal House in Karachi, where Ghani said he had already decided to take annual enrollment and intermediate exams in Sindh while other provinces had not yet made the decision.
All decisions were made after consultation with the Steering Committee of the Sindh Department of Education and Literacy, experts, and all stakeholders from the education sector, he clarified.

The minister said thousands of candidates had applied to hire 37,000 vacant teaching positions.
Due to the current situation of the coronavirus, the Sukkur Institute of Business Administration was unable to carry out the test that would have determined the applicants.
The minister said he would visit the institute to review the situation. Ghani said that this year 155 programs in the education department will be completed by June 2021. Our focus would be on repairing old school buildings rather than building new ones.
Maintenance work on the school would continue as school infrastructure deteriorated after the floods and rains last year, the minister added.
Ghani said there was a severe teacher shortage in Sindh public schools, adding that the government had decided to hire 37,000 teachers through a third party.

They had functionalized 2,247 closed schools by transferring teachers from other schools to closed schools.
The teacher shortage will be remedied shortly after the appointment, said the education minister.
