The home of Alistair Wilson, a banker, his wife Veronica, and their two young children was in Nairn, Scotland.

His murder sparked one of the largest investigations ever conducted in Scotland, which ultimately fizzled.

At the time of his death, he was the managing director of a nearby branch of the Bank of Scotland.

According to reports, one of Britain’s most notorious unsolved crimes is the murder of ALISTAIR Wilson in 2004.

What Happened To Alistair Wilson?

On 28th November 2004, Wilson was at home with his family awaiting the arrival of friends.

When a man knocked on the door and specifically asked for Alistair, Wilson’s wife, Veronica, answered.

Alistair approached the man and asked him something, and the man handed him an envelope with the name “Paul” on it. But it was free.

Wilson went back inside to tell his wife what had happened, but by the time he went back outside to talk to the man he had been shot at least three times and was dead.

Although no one has been charged with Wilson’s murder, authorities are still investigating the case.

They are also looking for a reason why he might have been killed and they believe they are getting close.

What is known is that the murder took place shortly before a smoking ban was introduced in Scottish pubs.
