Authorities said Alfred Louis Logan, charged with the shooting of a 29-year-old man in November, was arrested in North Carolina.
On the morning of 18th November, MPs found Kedrick Tevon Green “dead in his vehicle from a close-range gunshot wound” in an apartment complex on Christ School Road in Arden, North Carolina, about 113 miles west of Charlotte to a press Publication of the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office.

Alfred Louis Logan Arrested
Detectives opened an investigation, and on 1st December the sheriff’s office said it had charged Alfred Louis Logan Jr. with first-degree murder and asked local authorities to monitor him. At the time, the sheriff’s office said Logan was on federal probation and could be armed “because of his criminal history and the nature of the crime.”
On Sunday, December 12th, members of the United States Marshals Service detained Logan in Elizabeth City, North Carolina “without incident,” the sheriff’s office said. Elizabeth City is approximately 415 miles east of Arden.
“Sir. Logan was armed with a pistol at the time of his arrest, and detectives from the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office are currently en route to Elizabeth City for the custody of the pistol and other evidence, possibly related to the death of Kedrick Tevon Green on November 18th,” announced the sheriff’s office.
What Police Have Investigated Up Till Now?
The sheriff’s office said it had also charged Logan’s girlfriend, identified as Lindsey Nicole Calton, with “aiding and abetting criminal acts of first-degree murder and obstruction of justice” in connection with Green’s death. She was previously detained in Irondale, Alabama. She is charged with fleeing Buncombe County with Logan and “committed violent crimes in other jurisdictions”.
Logan was also wanted in Alabama for first-degree robbery, first-degree kidnapping, and first-degree assault in connection with a shooting at a gas station, police said, local media reported. The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation into Green’s death is ongoing.
“This was a long and detailed murder investigation,” Buncombe County Sheriff Quentin Miller said in the statement.
“I would like to sincerely thank our detectives and everyone else involved for their attention to detail, unwavering determination, and quick response from November 18th. I would also like to congratulate and thank everyone involved for the arrest of Mr. Alfred Logan Jr.”
