Abu Dhabi Wins Hearts As 1,000 Workers Donate New Clothes For Eid Al-Adha
Abu Dhabi Municipality has launched the Eid Clothing initiative to celebrate the upcoming Eid Al-Adha.
The aim of the initiative is to offer construction workers new clothing and to promote communication, compassion, and social solidarity.
As part of the initiative, the community visited 100 construction sites in Abu Dhabi and delivered new clothing to 1,000 workers.
The Department of Environment, Health, and Safety directs this social protection program. Management stressed the importance of complying with environmental, health, and safety requirements on construction sites.
He also urged workers to strictly adhere to these regulations to ensure everyone stays safe and healthy at work.
The Eid Clothing initiative is a way to recognize the hard work of construction workers and promote a sense of togetherness in the community.
In addition, on the occasion of the Eid Al-Adha celebrations, the Dubai Standing Committee on Labor Affairs has announced a social initiative called “Saada”, which means happiness.
Under the motto “Let’s Celebrate Eid Together”, the initiative aims to offer gifts worth millions of dirhams to workers residing in Dubai.
According to the information, three lucky workers will receive free cars, and thousands more will receive iPhones from Apple this Eid.
Saada’s wellness initiative will take place in workers’ housing in Al Quoz, Jebel Ali, and Muhaisnah. It applies to all workers living in Dubai.
