Aaron Goodey raped two men he met on Grindr and “posed a significant risk to men in London” and was imprisoned for 14 years.
He met the men on the Grindr dating app before raping them at home.
The court heard that he took the victims to an ATM and forced them to withdraw money while threatening them with even more violence.
Both attacks took place in the Enfield area, as per the Metropolitan Police.

Aaron Goodey Jailed For Raping & Robbing Two Men On Grindr App
Aaron Goodey was arrested in July 2020 after investigating two incidents involving men being raped by a man they met on Grindr App in the Enfield neighborhood of London, Wood Green Crown Court learned on Friday.
He then took the victims to an ATM and forced them to withdraw money while threatening them with more violence.
An investigation has linked Goodey to a third crime in which a man was attacked and forced to withdraw money by a man he met for consensual sex in Lambeth in January 2020.
Forensic evidence from the first crime victim has led scientists to identify Goodey as a possible suspect.
The officers examined the video surveillance footage and the phone worked, which linked him to all three incidents.
Aaron Goodey was later arrested and questioned about the attacks and any involvement was denied.

However, the Crown Prosecution Service cleared the charges against him based on evidence gathered from academics and officials.
Aaron Goodey of Tramway Avenue, Enfield, was convicted Friday.
Detective Superintendent Seb Adjei-Addoh of the Enfield Local Police Team said, “Aaron Goodey is a dangerous sex offender and poses a significant risk to London men.”
“He had access to the victims’ homes before subjecting them to serious sexual assault while using more violence and threats to extort money from them.”
“This ruling sends a clear message that sexual violence against anyone in London will not be tolerated, and I acknowledge the courage of the victims in this case, who have provided crucial evidence that Goodey can no longer offend.”
He added, “I urge anyone who falls victim to such a crime to contact the police immediately at number 101. Each report is treated with sensitivity and its identity is kept confidential. Always call 999 in an emergency.”
