As per the Indian publication, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao have decided to end their marriage after 15 years of life.
The former couple announced their separation in a joint statement.
According to their statements: “During these 15 wonderful years together, we have shared a life full of experiences, joy, and laughter, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect, and love. ‘love. Now we would like to start a new chapter in our life, no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and families for each other.”

The statement reads: “We started a planned separation some time ago and we are now comfortable formalizing this agreement, living apart and at the same time sharing our lives as an extended family. We remain faithful parents to our son Azad, whom we will care for and raise together.”
The statement goes on to say: “We will continue to work as employees on films, the Paani Foundation, and other projects that we are passionate about. A big thank you to our families and friends for their constant support and understanding of this evolution of our relationship, without which we would not have been so sure of this leap.”
“We ask our supporters for our best wishes and blessings and hope that, like us, they see this divorce not as the end, but as the beginning of a new journey. Thank you and love”, they further said.
The former couple married in 2005 and welcomed their son Azad Rao Khan in 2011.
