A Pakistani Waiter Wins 1 Kg Of Gold in Dubai, UAE
A 28-year-old Pakistani man who worked as a waiter in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) for four years won 1kg of gold in a raffle held earlier this month.
Mahzooz, a United Arab Emirates-based sweepstakes company, held its second Golden Summer sweepstakes online in a two-month campaign with its 92nd weekly sweepstakes.
According to reports, Syed, a Pakistani ex-pat, has been taking part in the above giveaway every week since he found out about it six months ago.
His luck finally worked and he saw his name on the screen while watching the live stream of the draw. Then she ran to her parents to tell them the good news.
Syed said her parents didn’t believe her at first until she showed them a screenshot of the draw with her name on it and said she would invest the amount for her family in the UAE.
However, she plans to continue her current job and start a side business to supplement her income as she recently got engaged and will have additional responsibilities when she gets married next January.
