A 50% Pay Increase For Govt Employees is Proposed in The Next Budget
The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has put forward a proposal to increase government employees’ salaries by 50% in the next budget.
In a recent interview with the news media, Senator Palwasha Khan spoke about the average person’s struggles to make ends meet. He acknowledged the challenges facing the government but stressed his commitment to unburdening the public in the next federal budget.

Separately, earlier this week the Federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Associations (FAPUASA) called on central and provincial governments to allocate more budgets to public sector universities across the country in the next annual budget.
