Rasuili Zubaidullah is a murder suspect accused of raping and killing a girl in Austria who “infiltrated Britain on an immigrant ship under a false name”.
Zubaidullah reportedly crossed the Channel in a refugee boat and claimed asylum under a false name on 18th July.
After the man was wanted in Austria for murder and rape, the ordeal raised fears about border security.
He stayed in a hotel paid for by the British taxpayer for almost a fortnight before his true identity was revealed.

Zubaidullah arrived in the UK on July 18 before giving false information to customs officials in Kent.
Three weeks earlier, on June 26, the body of a girl named ‘Leonie’ had been found on a tree in the Austrian capital.
She was drugged and raped and police opened a search to find a group of Afghan refugees suspected of assaulting them after meeting on social media.
On July 1, Austrian authorities arrested three Afghans, aged 16, 18, and 23, in connection with the case.
As per the authorities, the victim knew the first two suspects and had voluntarily accompanied them to the apartment of the 18-year-old.
As per the Vienna Police Chief Gerhard Pürstl, drugs were administered to him, and “crimes against the sexual integrity of the girl” were committed.
The girl’s killers rolled her body onto a carpet and threw it near the apartment.
Alp Mehmet of UK thinks tank Migration Watch, who is skeptical of migration, told the Mail: “This case is one example of why we are so concerned about the possibility of criminals and terrorists exploiting the loopholes who could.”
What Police Have Investigated Up Till Now?
Zubaidullah, 22, allegedly used a false name when he arrived on a refugee boat weeks after the attack on the 13-year-old girl.
The Daily Mail reported that he was held in a hotel for just under a fortnight while seeking asylum before his identity was revealed and he was arrested.
As per the newspaper, intelligence from the Austrian police enabled Zubaidullah to be located and immigration authorities would not have known they were looking for him in connection with the brutal gang rape in Vienna.
The case shocked Austria, the Chancellor criticized “cruel and barbaric crimes” and the country demanded Britain’s extradition.
Zubaidullah was reportedly arrested on July 29 by officers from the National Extradition Unit at an Ibis hotel in Whitechapel, east London, and is now subject to extradition proceedings.

He then made a video link from Wandsworth Prison in London to Westminster Magistrates’ Court on September 3, before appearing again on 1st October.
The case is likely to raise questions about the control of refugees arriving in the UK amid the crisis in Afghanistan.
A number of vulnerable people have also been recorded crossing the Channel to reach the country, often in dangerous boats.
