Christopher Labbe is a Lewiston man who remained in jail Tuesday and was charged outside of Mountain Valley Variety at 438 Hancock St.
Labbe of 241 Central Avenue was arrested for arson at 1 a.m., officials from a member of the State Fire Marshal’s Office said Friday and was taken to the Oxford County jail south of Paris.

What Was The Incident?
Maine State Police social media coordinator Katharine England said Labbe was charged with starting a fire outside the store Thursday, but there was no damage.
England said a state fire marshal and Rumford police and fire service personnel were involved in the investigation.
Suspect
Labbe took place Tuesday night for a 2,500 USD cash loan.
It was not known when he would appear in court for the first time. A correctional officer announced Tuesday.
