Former Prince Charles Aide Resigns When His Charity is Accused of Monetary Fraud
Former Prince Charles advisor Michael Fawcett, who was the CEO of a charity called Prince Charles, resigned on allegations of financial fraud.
The Prince Foundation has been charged with their agents charging a heavy fee to access the Prince of Wales and keeping the funds, The Guardian reported.
The outlet quoted a representative of the foundation as saying the recently revealed allegations were being taken “very seriously”.
“The Prinz Foundation takes the allegations reported by the mail on Sunday about third parties who have presented potential donors to our association in the past very seriously,” said a spokesman for the Prinz Foundation.
Previously it was alleged that wealthy people were offered a dinner with the Prince and an evening at his Scottish mansion, Dumfries House, at a price of £100,000 (about C $175,000).

The Guardian also reported that an email would contain the article “that mechanics could pay up to 25% of the fee earmarked for royal charities”.
The sender of the email has since been identified as Michael Wynne-Parker, who said in the email that five percent of the fee went to him and 20 percent to “another intermediary”.
He also mentioned that the money should be donated to Burke’s nobility, dubbed the “Who’s Who” of the British aristocracy, while claiming that their publisher, William Bortrick, represented the Prince.
