As per TMZ, guitarist for BLACK OAK ARKANSAS, the southern rockbilly psycho boogie group with more than 50 years of history, Rickie Lee Reynolds has passed away. He was 72 years old.
Reynolds died in the hospital on Sunday morning (5th September) and struggled with long-term health complications.

The cause of death of Black Oak Arkansas guitarist Rickie Lee Reynolds was revealed by his son on 5th September 2021.
In a 2018 interview with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Rickie said, “We don’t just identify the group by locals. We named the group after the city. No matter who you are or what you do, there is a level of security in life when you are at the pivotal level of who you were to who you are.”
“The metropolis of Black Oak was a crucial point for us. Whether they liked us better or not, it was the backbone of our historic past,” added Reynolds.
