Prince Charles Describes A ‘Delightful’ Hobby With Prince George in Highgrove
Prince Charles recently described some of the hobbies he enjoys sharing with Prince George at Highgrove.
The Prince of Wales has spoken openly about liaising with Prince George during his upcoming appearance on Radio 4 and BBC Sounds.
Together with Simon Armitage in Llwynywermod, the heir pointed out what he and his grandson like to do with a Highgrove tree.
For those unaware, Prince George planted a popular balsam tree on the property in 2015 and has since returned several times with his grandfather to visit.

Prince Charles says: “It’s fun to have the grandchildren plant a tree from time to time so that if you know what I mean, you can measure yourself by the size of the tree.”
He also made special reference to the Prince George Tree, admitting: “That thing exploded. I mean, it’s already taller than this barn, which is quite satisfying for a kid to be able to say, ‘Check it out now.’ It grows about 3 feet per year not many people do.”
