Kanye West Joined DaBaby And Marilyn Mason on ‘Donda’ in Chicago
Kanye West has a lot of people scratching their heads … his ‘Donda’ listening event started in Chicago with performances by DaBaby and Marilyn Manson.
West filled with fans at Soldier Field in Chicago Thursday night, with the event slated to begin at 9 p.m. Local time, but started around 11.
He opened the event with one of the show’s most popular songs. Album ‘Jail’ – which previously contained a verse by Jay-Z – but the verse was replaced with one by DaBaby … a confusing move.
DaBaby, who recently made disgusting homophobic comments on Rolling Loud, not only starred in the song but also accompanied Kanye on ‘stage’.

Also on stage was Marilyn Manson, who has been sued by several women for sexual assault in recent months.
As on the other listening nights, Kanye only danced on the album, not live.
As for the scene … it’s a replica of Kanye’s childhood home, where he grew up in Chicago.
Though controversial, DaBaby’s appearance at the event makes sense if it’s on the album. Why Manson, who looked so out of place, was included … that remains to be seen. Apparently, it doesn’t appear in any of the songs.
However, this is the third part of the listen that Kanye turned down without dropping the album, so the guy may be desperate for a controversial track.
