Petrol Prices in Pakistan Are Expected To Increase Once Again
Some official sources say the price of petroleum products in the country is set to increase again as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (OGRA) seeks to raise tariffs.
The regulator sent a summary to the Petroleum Division recommending an increase in the price of gasoline by 0.50 rupees per liter, an increase in the price of diesel by 2.50 rupees per liter, and an increase in the price of kerosene and oil for diesel fuel of 1 rupee per liter.

After consulting with Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Treasury Department will make a final decision on the price change of petroleum products, sources said.
Two weeks ago, the government increased the price of fuel by Rs 1.71 per liter, bringing the current price to Rs 119.80 per liter.
