Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) was evacuated on Friday as authorities investigated a possible telephone threat, a spokeswoman said.
Representative Katie Robinson did not elaborate on the potential threat but said everyone inside the terminal was evacuated from a “safe distance” to a parking lot on Friday afternoon.

Official Media Sources reported that the airport had received a “potential threat to airport and passenger security”.
He said flights to Chicago, Detroit, and Myrtle Beach had been delayed.
Fort Wayne Police have closed an airport parking lot and driveways to all traffic.
