Telegram has announced new updates to its popular messaging app for Android and iOS. One of the most important updates is “Group Video Calls 2.0”, in which up to 30 people can broadcast their cameras and up to 1000 viewers can participate.
Telegram jokingly suggests that this limit will be increased until “anyone on earth can join a group call.”
Video messages are also updated. This doesn’t apply to videos you send, but those little circular video messages that you can send by holding down the camera button next to the text box.

These video messages now have a higher resolution and can also be expanded and paused. Voice messages can now be recorded without interrupting the background music.
Video files sent via telegrams can be slowed down or sped up to 0.5X, 1.5X, and 2.0X speeds.
Android phones also support 0.2 times the speed. 1 to 1 video calls allow you to share your screen with audio.
There is also an automatic deletion interval that allows you to delete your messages after one month.
There are also a number of minor updates. Now you can draw more precisely on the images with the Telegram editor, there are more animations on the password screen, messages sent to a chat are animated in a new way, a reset option password has been added to help you. , and new animated emojis are also added.
The iOS app is integrated with the iOS camera app in order to add other functions to the Telegram camera. These functions will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
