Punjab’s Education Department has officially released the finalized dates for the board exams 2021 of matric and intermediate in between this pandemic situation.
According to the official announcement, the 10th and the 12th board exams will begin in two phases across the province from July 10th.
In the first phase, the exams in grades 12th and 10th are taken from July 10th and July 29th, respectively. In the second phase, the exams take place on the 11th and 9th, beginning on August 13th and August 29th, respectively.
The Punjab Education Department has also urged schools and colleges in the province to ensure strict implementation of the COVID-19 SOPs, which include social distancing and wearing a face mask.
The Inter-Provincial Conference of Education Ministers (IPEMC) met earlier this month and decided to hold matrix and mid-term exams across the country from July 10th.

Please note that the IPEMC has decided to take exams only for subjects of matriculation and intermediate students’ choice in order to facilitate these in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
