The Pak rupee devalued 37 paisas against the US dollar on the interbank currency market on Tuesday.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the local currency closed at Rs 154.50 against the dollar and saw 37 paisas depreciate from the previous close of Rs 154.13.

On April 28, the rupee had appreciated against the dollar to 152.95 and hit a 22-month high.
The rupee has risen by more than 15 rupees in the past seven months since hitting a record low of 168.43 rupees in August last year.
